Yairi workshop in Japan, combining premium tonewoods, exceptional craftsmanship, and outstanding playability. Designed in a comfortable folk/OM body style with a smooth cutaway, the WY1 delivers balanced tone, impressive projection, and effortless upper fret access for both fingerstyle players and dynamic strummers.

Its solid AA Western Red cedar top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides produces a rich, responsive voice with crisp highs, warm mids, and deep piano-like bass response. Yairi’s hand-carved FST6 bracing system enhances resonance and dynamic range, giving the guitar an open, articulate character with excellent sustain and headroom.

The soft V mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a comfortable playing experience, while premium appointments like figured maple binding, bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge, and open-gear tuners complete the guitar’s refined aesthetic and performance.
