The Peavey Classic 20 continues the legendary tradition of the Classic Series amps that have been trusted by professional musicians since the 1970s. Powered by two EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes, the Classic 20 delivers rich all-tube tone with smooth cleans, dynamic breakup, and responsive overdrive. Featuring two channels with a built-in boost function, the Classic 20 covers a wide range of tones and playing styles. Shared 3-band EQ and reverb controls provide simple but effective tone shaping, while the footswitchable channels, effects loop, and reverb add flexibility for stage use.

Modern recording and live performance features include Peavey’s MSDI (Microphone Simulated Direct Interface) with XLR and USB outputs, allowing you to send your tone directly to a mixer or recording setup. A built-in attenuator switch offers 20W, 5W, and 1W modes for achieving rich tube saturation at any volume level, and the speaker defeat switch allows for silent recording directly into your DAW.
