Blessing B121 Bb Cornet Student Model

Blessing B-121 Cornet – Student Model (Used)

The Blessing B-121 Cornet is a reliable student model instrument, perfect for players looking to explore a different sound while maintaining familiar brass fundamentals. Built with quality craftsmanship, it offers smooth playability and a warm, rich tone that makes it a great addition for developing musicians.

While cornets and trumpets are very similar—both typically pitched in the same key and sharing the same tubing length—they differ in design and sound. The cornet features a conical bore and deeper mouthpiece, producing a warmer, mellower tone, whereas the trumpet’s cylindrical bore creates a brighter, more piercing sound. This makes the cornet an excellent option for trumpet players wanting a smoother, more lyrical voice.

This instrument is in very good condition, with only minor scratches and small dings from normal use. It plays well and is a solid choice for students or trumpet players looking to expand their tonal palette.
